Playwright: Based J. Osborne’s play “Look Back in Anger”
Director: Natasha Dubs
Premiere: 2020
The play is performed in Russian.
The main question posed by the theater in this play is the life of a heavily burdened man in a changing world.
Tiresome family life has led the protagonist feeling like life is a frozen pond, and himself – a stone thrown into that pond.
Who is he?!
A psycho? A sadist? A god? A child? A dreamer? A loser? A victim? A hero?!
As we look and listen, we may think this way, and then that way, and then this way again! In any case, it will be all right, now it will be all right.
He and she will lock themselves up in their apartment, and she will keep her big squirrel eyes on his bear pelt and fangs, because he is a lazy bear. And he will make sure that her fluffy tail is always shiny because, although she is beautiful, she is not a very deft squirrel.
